First Cast

Julia, Gus, and I went up North to her parent's cottage this past weekend. Her dad and I put in the dock and the boats, went to the hardware store and then stopped at their friends and had a beer, then headed back to their place and split mowing the yard, but then we got to fish.

I caught one on my first cast of the year - same as last year. Man it's a good feeling to have been out in the boat fishing again. We probably only got about an hour in with all the chores, but hopefully we'll make it up again this summer and not mess with the dock and stuff.
