Reds put out fire sale sign

Scouts say the Reds are alerting other clubs that everybody on their roster is available except Aaron Harang, Homer Bailey, Josh Hamilton, Alex Gonzalez and Brandon Phillips.

I guess that means Griffey is available. If they trade him, I will probably renounce my fan status with the Reds.
Haha, you'll still root for them. When's his contract up? I heard the same thing from another buddy ... it'll be interesting to see what comes up.
I think his contract goes through 2009. Actually, I just read an article that said he is due to make around 16 million next year. So, it will be tough to make a trade. He also has the no trade veto.
They should trade him but like you said probably won't be able to.
